Chris joined Investment Real Estate Specialists, LLC, in 2007 and has been a real estate investor since 1997. He is a self storage broker, property manager and owner. He currently manages 9 self storage facilities, three apartment complexes and an industrial property, and is a former member of the Argus Self Storage Sales Network.

Prior to joining IRES, Chris worked for Capgemini, a management consulting firm based in Paris, France. As a consultant Chris worked in several industries including retail, pharmaceuticals, insurance, financial services, distribution and energy. He focused on a variety of issues facing businesses such as developing sales growth strategies, assessing cost reduction opportunities, evaluating sales force effectiveness, segmenting customers, evaluating customer experience, developing business partnerships, reengineering and standardizing processes, and piloting new service offerings.

Prior to joining Capgemini, Chris worked for Sears, Roebuck and Co. and McMaster-Carr Supply Co., an industrial supply distribution company. Chris earned a BA in Economics from Northwestern University and a MBA from the University of Chicago.
